Volume 9 Launched!

Hello, fellow philosophers and science fiction fans! Volume 9 of the Journal of Science Fiction and Philosophy just launched!

Taking a break from the A.I. monomania of these last couple of years, this volume will feature a rich diversity of topics. Tristan Guillaume explores a variety of SF scenarios in which morality is put on hold. Eric Wills provides an illuminating reading of that baffling classic, David Lindsay’s A Voyage to Arcturus. In our Charting the Stars section, Mika Oksanen offers a comprehensive look at visions of the multiverse in science fiction, from classic short stories to labyrinthine comic series. Book reviews feature works on Philip K. Dick, feminist dystopias, and Back to the Future. And there’s more to come, including a Special Issue on the 60th anniversary of Star Trek!

Help yourself to a good serving of science fiction and philosophy!
