About the Author: Richard Bilsker earned a PhD in Philosophy from Florida State University. He has published articles and book reviews in Philosophy, Sociology, and Political Science journals. Recent work has been in Philosophy and Popular Culture, with book chapters on topics related to the X-Files, Dave Chappelle, Scott Adams, Jimi Hendrix, and Fred Rogers. He teaches Philosophy at the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata, Maryland, where he is also Chair of the Arts and Humanities Department.
