About the Author: Liz W. Faber is Associate Professor of English & Communication at Dean College. They are the author of The Computer’s Voice: From Star Trek to SiriRobot Suicide: Death, Identity, and AI in Science Fiction, and the editor of Under the Mistletoe: Essays on Holiday Romance in Popular Culture. Their research focuses on science fiction and cultural histories of computing technologies.
