About the Author: Sherry Ginn retired in 2018 after 35 years of teaching in post-secondary education. She is the author or editor of numerous books on science fiction television, including Being A Girl: Essays on Gender Representation on Doctor Who. Dr. Ginn also edits the series Critical Explorations of Science Fiction for McFarland Publishing.
