About the Author:
Thorsten Botz-Bornstein was born in Germany in 1964, did his entire undergraduate studies in philosophy in Paris, and received a Ph.D. in philosophy from Oxford University in 1993. He worked from 2009 to 2026 at the Gulf University in Kuwait as a full professor and director of the Global Studies Center. He is now Associate Researcher at Nanzan University in Japan.
